On the 29th October, Microsoft made major changes to their partner model.  No longer is there a Microsoft Gold Partner, instead each Microsoft Partner is recognised by their skill level in Microsoft products.

We are proud to announce that we are now the only Microsoft Partner in the world with 3 Gold Competencies, Volume Licensing, Mid Market Solution Provider and OEM as well as holding the Small Business Specialist qualification and 4 Silver competencies.

Microsoft took the decision to make their Gold status harder to achieve so it could add more value to those partners who showed commitment in terms of training and customer service.
