The Story:
T J Brent, A large construction company with head offices in Bodmin had an IT team who had some expertise however they needed someone to turn to when it came to hitting difficult problems with their servers, so the high level of knowledge that was required in keeping the company network up and running was contracted to NCI.
Supplying hardware and software at competitive prices and travelling the country to install and configure the network alongside their engineers became a daily routine for our staff.
Wanting someone on site to help their own staff run the network and to train them on the latest technologies, NCI were commisioned to supply a member of staff on a 12 month full time contract.
We supplied a top level engineer to be based full time at their offices who had immediate and continuous contact with our other engineers at NCI providing support to remote offices throughout the UK.
6 months after us taking on the contract the company in question merged with a larger company, May Gurney, and our staff continued full time to migrate the whole network over to the new company resolving all the problems along the way despite May Gurney having a much larger IT team.
Not only were the company delighted with the solutions we provided but constantly commented on the high level of expertise our staff showed in all aspects of our work.
